Now that I have my iPod 60 in hand I'm now selling my very trusty iPod 3G 20GB, purchased Feb 28 2004.

The iPod is in excellent condition overall. one small & minor surface scratch on the upper right of the display.

The iPod comes with all the original packaging from the box. It includes the Firewire cable / USB Cable and Dock, new original unused earbuds and the orginal barely used remote.

The Battery was replaced September 09 2005 and will run presently for 5+ hours continuously which is as good or better than the day I bought it. I had Apple Run Diags on it last Friday and there a zero bad sectors on the disk. The one thing it does not include is a case. The original has outright worn out and the elastic sides were so weak they could not hold the unit in any longer.

I'm selling it for a hideously cheap dream amount, so dream up a fair amount and hit me up with a price and we'll see if the numbers match or are close. Email to jplewis01@comcast.net

Lloking For Finalscratch Desparate

hello, im in a bit of a dilemma, i wa buying finalscratch 1 from someone of ebay and they have ripped me off (they wernt from china or anything) i done a buy it now deal with them and they have kept the auction on and sold it to the winner instead, to cut a long story short, as i had bought on this i sold my cd collection as i ripped it to my pc ready for this, now i have to go to work on friday and i have no way of playing apart from old vinyl and im buggered, will someone sell me a finalscratch scratchamp or package. im desperate. my email is djcolinlittle@gmail.com please email me, i can pay bacs, paypal, i havent got the money to buy fs2 or a new fs 1.5 as ive lost £170 (i will get it back but it takes ages from paypal)

Maybe I don't speak for everyone else here, but I think you are on your own on this. If you are counting on our sympathy to sell you something for cheap, all I can say is best of luck to you...

1.) Where is the money you got from selling your collection? Hopefully you got a lot more than £170 for selling all your music.

2.) I don't know any gigging DJs who would sell off their music collection when going to a computer-based system, and those few who might even consider it would only do it after playing weeks or months worth of gigs on the new system (using the old collection as backup). Excuses won't cut it when you tell someone you can't play for them as promised...

Either you've still got a bit of learning to do about being a working DJ (and the lesson is in front of you right now) or this isn't the real story that you have told us.

(Although I can't imagine why anyone would think they would need to make up a story on here.)

you could shovel this by the wheelbarrow to raise corn. You bought something on ebay expecting to have it and gig with it on Friday? You bought a piece of kit you clearly can't afford? Charity is for those afflicted by unfortunate circumstances, not for those who create them unnecessarily. It's hard to feel sympathy for you; this is evolution in action. File a grievance with ebay and Paypal and get your money back. End of story.

Thatnks for the concern but i dont think you understood what the situation was here. I trawled through this forum and many others to find a lot of people upgrading to FS2, i was mearly asking if anyone was selling, i wasnt crying poverty, i got ripped off on ebay and was in a fix, well to let you all know (not that your interested) i went and bought myself Finalscratch which is now sitting in front of me. With regards to the other comments, i think its pathetic that others have to mock other peoples misfortune, ive been a professional dj for over 15 years (clearly unlike most of the school kids on this forum) i spent over 3 years transfering all my vinyl collection (of which i still have) onto cd & minidisc. I did not sell all my collection but i was helping another dj out with the past 2 years of tunes. This has no relevence of how much money i have etc. if you budget for something (i was told to buy a second hand FS for £200, anything less than this is good value) id never used it before or even seen it in action until today. so i took a chance, im not interested in your so called non vote for sympathy, its obviosly come to light how petty some of you are on this forum. I was told that this forum was a good source of information when using FS, Judging by the attitudes of some people on this forum i dont think ill bother

 

If a lot of people misunderstand what you say, you probably need to take a look at the message itself. A defense of "I didn't steal your horse, and by the way you have a lousy horse" isn't gonna win Mister Congeniality ribbons. We're a bunch of kids & amateurs but we're okay to turn to for help, until you don't get any. Got it.

 

For Sale: Faderfox Dj1

Hello community,

I'd like to sell my trusty Faderfox DJ1 module.

The condition can be described as new. It has been used only a couple of times. The module never left my living room environment and always was stored dustfree (non-smoking).

It didn't see any kind of heavy duty or pro use and therefore all the faders and potis run as smoothly as on the very first day.

The DJ1 comes with the original retail box, driver cd and copy of the original invoice (including the serial no.). The warranty is covered by the manufacturer till Nov. 2006 (however most people know that the Faderfox quality is outstanding anyway).

I actually feel a little sorry for you as getting ripped of is never good, however I do think that putting your faith in getting hold of FS and relying on it for a gig the same week is a bit ambitious.

Obviously we didn't understand the situation if that's how more than one of us took it. As I said - something about your story didn't make sense and it meant that either you weren't giving us the complete story or it was a story you made up. The complete story is you were helping another DJ out and that's why you didn't have access to your CDs.

And OK, I admit it... it may have been petty. You yourself made this observation, "... most of the school kids on this forum" - and what are we to think when you appear to be asking for a "hook up"? And the way it was presented to us you were asking for it because of what looked a poor decision or lack of experience and/or judgement to some of us experienced DJs on here. There are also people who come on here asking to "borrow" registered copies of software or music collections, etc.

Without the complete story, it did seem to me like you were either trying to get something for nothing by telling a sob story or that you did not have the experience to know not to give away or sell your music collection before fully testing your new FS system. And that is why I responded to your posting as I did.

I apologize if I judged you unfairly.

Eluminx Keyboard: The custom labels were created by printing on inkjet paper and then protecting these with an adhesive transparency. This is essential to protect from heat and moisture as my previous keyboard was ruined! This one looks greaT ! I will add pictures on Saturday as I am on an away job this week.
