Buying a used S4 controller only...question

    A friend of mine wants to sell his S4 controller only. Reason being he is moving to a denon-dn-x1600 and he wants to be able to keep the tpro2 scatch copy he has. I am a registered owner of tpro2 and have no need for scratch.

    Will I have a problem setting up and using the S4 with my copy of tpro2?

    Shouldn't have any problem... just make sure he transfers the hardware serial number to your account. Might have to email NI to do so. You should be able to run the setup wizard for the S4, plug and play.

    I think that is to transfer the software license. Not 100% sure on how to properly transfer hardware serial. I would imagine an email to NI will get the ball rolling.
