Help! I need help with calibrating my cdjs with traktor, im getting the time code signal and i can play music through my speakers by pressing play on the deck on the screen. But i cant get my computer to recognise my cdjs? I have it set up in external in the "output routing" but still i cant seem to get the "waveform" on the screen to recognise the control cd in my cdj.

Also on the audio 8 box the lights on channel A, in and out are not lighting up, its the same with channel B, in and out. These are the channels where i have the leads going into it?

I am new to Traktor so i apologise if i seem to be a little slow, so if anyone can sort this out it would be much appreciated. Basically i need a step by step tutorial (in english) that i can understand. Many thanks

Press the little arrow beneath A and B and select "Scratch Controll" or whatever it says.

also when i go to output and put it on external the audio sign (little speaker) at the top of the screen turns red, when i go internal it changes back to green? thanks

I have the same problem ! after installing 1.1.1.001
My tracktor no longer recognises timecode cd's . Strange cz i didnt change anything in wiring and it worked fine on 1.0.2. SO now i went back to 1.0.2 and it works again. but my whole collection is gone. I am paniking cz cz i dj every week and this is a nightmare i tried everything in the manual .

I didnt back up my collection so does that mean my collection event the backups will only be readable in 1.1.1 ?

Ive got a very bug gig on friday and i guess i am playing cd's .....

I am loosing faith in traktor please help.

Check Audio8-input or try with drivers

I finaly found the resolution to that. Now with a new update you can select the actual input of controll. And when you install 1.1.1. its set to "internal playback" by default meaning u controill with midi only ...

u can also select "Audio thru"(to play normal cds in middle of ur set for eg) and

"Scatch controll" this is what you need to be able to controll with vynil or timecode cd's from cdj's. Also cue and cup buttons will switch to little vynil icons ... which is the new option in 1.1.1 Relative mode and Absolute mode

Absolute mode basicaly percisely follows the poistion in time on you timecode cd with the playback of the track in traktor

Relative mode only recognises the speed the timecode cd so that you can pitch bend omly ... traktor automaticaly switches to relatoive mode if u loop in traktor and not ur cdj ... think about it will make sence to u...

its the arrow pointing downwards under deck focus A or B ... the box that displayes Big letter A or B highlited by orange

Just above the pitch slider ..clikc the arrow down and there will be a drop down menu ...

i played a gig with 1.1.1 in front of 400 people last friday and it went just fine no glithes or anything ...

    Hope it works for you
