Can anyone suggest me a good instrument insurance?

I bought me a really expensive new music instrument some weeks ago. Now would I like to insure it but I have no clue to which insurance company I should go for that insurance. Thats why I wanted to ask here in this forum if someone could help me and give me a hint which music intrument insurance would be good for me?

 

Not really a good place to ask IMO, because a lot depends on where you live, and this is a rather international forum. Not to mention that I'm a little confused with the question too, i mean: surely you have your home & furniture and such insured? I'd start there.

 

Well it depends if your existing cover , would cover instruments especially if they are taken from place to place , ie , a live performance band etc ,I would have to get separate MacBook insurance if I was to take my MacBook out with me , like you said tho , without knowing the situation or instrument , it’s hard to give advice , we assume it’s ni related , but he might of brought an antique violin worth thousands.

 

If member of ASCAP, they have some good recommendations.
