Hello ! Let's say i have my Cutoff modulated by Env1. Is there a way to activate MIDI learn to assign the envelope modulation amount to a MIDI Controller ? Whenever i right-click the Cutoff-Knob, i only get to assign the normal Cutoff amount :(

    cheers,
    andy

oh dear, that function is on rank 3 of my most important controllers, right after cutoff and Resoncance :( thanks for the quick reply ! I hope NI will fix that, Massive is a great synth.

i don’t think PaulSC is right......

Have you looked at massive’s “side chaining” in the manual?

Drop your envelope on to the first modulation slot of the filter
Drag one of the macro controls to the third slot (might work on the second as well, I can’t remember)
Click the little tiny icon beneath the first (or is that third?) modulation slot and set it an arrow rather than a line. The direction of the arrow sets what direction you’re modulating in.
Map the macro control to midi and use that to set the envelope amount.

does that help? apologies it's a little vague i'm at work.

thanks a lot, triss ! Indeed it worked !
Good to know there's some workaround, but it's much of a hassle ! we have to set it up for each and every sound, thereby maybe discarding other modulation parameters. So i hope NI will take care of that, it's such an essential parameter !
