Can I import Prem Grand C7 Refill.rfl into Kontact 2?

I Just purchased the M-Audio Volume 1 Grand Piano C7 for Reasons NNXT sampler as I thought this format was supported.

The files on the disk have a .rfl and kontact 2 wont see them in the file view. It will see the folder the file is located in but not the file.

Am I just doing something wrong or have I made a poor choice in the format I purchased?

I would buy samples created for Kontakt. This fourm is filled with threads by people having trouble importing different formats. If you already own the sample perhaps its worth the trouble, but if I were buying somthing new-----

I am afraid you will not be able to read any refill (.rfl) file in Kontakt. A refill file is locked and can only be accessed by Reason. The NNTX format can only be imported into Kontakt if both the .stx file and the accompanying samples are accessible, i.e., not wrapped up in a refill... (which is, unfortunately, a highly unlikely situation...)

Did you receive this as part of the Esounds World Instrument Group Buy? If you did, you should be getting an email with information on how to obtain the Kontakt version of the samples. Here's the link to the KVR forum thread that discusses it.

Thank you all for the replys and the education! Yes, I did receive the C7 through the Group Buy and I had specified Kontakt format. I sent an email to support and will probably be receiving an email soon with a link to solve my problem.

Looks like a Win, Win situation! I learned something new and got a great deal on some Great Sounds.
