It's all there in the title!
Would prefer to choose what gets stored and can't find any info on it...
    Niceone.

i don't understand the question

what samples are you talking about?

    loops you have edited?

single shot sounds you have used for a new kit?

    Hey thanks for the reply.
    What I mean is this:
When I load a non library sample from my hard drive via the browser into the sampler, it gets added to the maschine library. Does that make sense?
I would prefer it if the library doesn't add anything automatically, only sounds I manually import to it. Is this possible?

they should not be added.... where are they being added to?

unless you are using Save Project with Samples.

    or you are importing them?

I think what they are saying is, when ever you add and edit a sample it get's put in samples folder. With non-destructive editing I thought they just add markers and other info for the sample edit and link them to the original sample, not create a new sample. The extra samples start adding up,and if you have to move your projects from computer to computer you have to move every sample also to make sure you have them all! Saving samples with project helps keep track of them but sometimes I forget to save that way.

    Yep, Daath has it.

If I drag a sample from the Disk browser to a Sound pad, it gets stored in the Samples library. I suppose they're easily filtered out with Banks but it just seemed a bit bloaty to automate it in that way...
