Can i use a Maschine MK1 with MK2 software?

    So i just bought this Maschine MK1 used thru Guitar Center. I waited a week and a half for it to come in and when it finally came in i whipped it out and put the software in. I just found out that MK1 is only compatible with OS X 10.3 - 10.7 or something like that. Well i have 10.10.3 so i cant download the Maschine MK1 software. Would I be able to buy the the MK2 update and use it with my Maschine without installing the MK1? What can i do? please help me

    All versions of Maschine hardware are compatible with all versions of the Maschine software.

    ok thanks, but can i just buy the $99 MK2 update without having any other software and still be good?
