    Hi.

    I have Kore/Kompete5 and use Cubase 4.5

When i click on inserts in Cubase, I see all of the cubase inserts, and then Absynth, Kore, Pro53, B4, FM8, and Reaktor FX.

I do not see Kontakt FX. Is there a way to use Kontakt's FX? Or are they only available within the instrument when running it as a VST? Basically I wanna know if i can use Kontakt's Convolution Reverb to add reverb to an audio track within Cubase. (making the convolution reverb in cubase 5.0 somewhat redundant or vice versa).

The simple answer is: No you can't use Kontakt's FX section outside the Plug In, this has been requested by many users but at the moment it's not possible.

Ok. Just curious. Would be nice, but for now I can MORE than handle w/o. I noticed Kontakt has Convo reverb. And Cubase 5 will have convo reverb...but this won't be redundant given the current limitations of Kontakt.

You can however control other vst's with the scripting tools.. that was a very pleasant surprise to find out.
