can i used stand alone and sofware without ..

Can I use the software and then switch to stand alone to play on ny dn s3700 and then come back to the two with out any delays? Or mix one track on the software and another on the cdj? Thank-you in advanced

 

Sure. You just click the Traktor button on the top of the mixer. That instantly switches from Traktor mode to thru mode. There is a button for each channel.

 

works really well actually.more clearly thought out than ssl mixers imo

 

I don't think it is. The Rane mixers use a knob to switch between 4 options on the 57 and the 62. Since there are 3to4 different modes on both the Z2 and SL mixers Software/Phono/CD or usb/line1/line3 or usb/line2/line4, I'd prefer a knob over a button and a 2 position toggle switch. That being said, I guess most users using just 2 channels with only 2 sources would be more than fine with an on/off button on the Z2.

 

its either on or off. thats as simple as it gets. no flipping through knobs in the dark. and i can see if its on or not.
