I've got a 16step sequencer controlling the read position of an audio table, and a one measure (16 16th notes) drum break loaded in it. Let's say for steps 1-7, it's got the read position travelling normally, then on step eight, it drops the reading speed down to half. Step 9 onward would be normal speed. At the end of step 8, going into 9, the read position would be behind the beat - late - if it were to start reading at normal speed, since it only traversed half the beat length in step 8. Is there anyway to get the read position to jump forward - as in, not read a certain portion of the audio and skip immediately to a later portion of the audio (namely, the ninth 16th note in the measure) - or would the read speed have to be increased dramatically for that moment before step 9 so the read position could "catch up" ?

you can feed the RX input absolute values. so you´d just feed it the value your step number 9 has and there you go, playback is at exactly that position...
