Can traktor automatically jump from hotcue to hotcue ?

Hi all,

I was wondering if I can make Traktor automatically jump from one hotcue to the next on a certain track.

The reason I ask is because I have some great tracks I'd like to cut the less-great parts out of without having to edit each one in a separate DAW software(like ableton or sonar).

Just use the mix recorder. Do the cue jumps manually while recording one time. Then, import your recording into Traktor and use the new, edited track when you mix.

That's an option but if I have a lot of tracks I want to cut it's still a hassle to record each track individually,
I'd rather cut them in Sonar or Ableton, it would be faster but no fast enough.

Doesn't Traktor have a feature that can handle my desire? ;-)

Yeah, "Skip Markers" is an idea I had for a looong time.
It works just like loop in/out markers, but it instead of playing a section, it skips it.

You should put these ideas in the forum called "Feature Suggestions".

 

I'm definitely for Skip Markers as well.
At the moment I just add two cues and Label them In and Out - with the Out being a Hot Cue, then when the In cue marker is reach, I hit the Out Hot Cue to skip that section of the track.
Having Traktor do this for me would be all sorts of awesomeness

Great Idea. This was requested many time and over the years. NI did not seem to take interest in this but Serato did.

For you newbies NI does not care much about what features you want and almost never implement user requested features go to the feature request thread and count how many user request where actually implemented in the last 2 years and you will get the idea.

Auto jump without touch anything in keyboard or controller. I see this trick in two different videos and it's related to one or tho lines un the controller editor to make CUE jump to next point. I try without success.
Any idea?

 

I don't mean to Hi-Jack this thread but is there a way to set a Autoloop? At the end of a track in traktor?

Ohh and traktor needs Flip big time..........
