Can you use Maschine studio without a single mouse click?

    Hi,

    Must say that I am not really into the workflow of Maschine studio and most of the time I will use mouse for assistance. Just wanted to know during the pattern creation, arrangement, effect, mixing stage, can you do it without a single mouse click? And do you think using all the knobs and buttons within MS will be faster than using mouse click?

    the answer to this i am afraid is to read the manual. you need to really invest time in learning how to use the Controller and yes, when you get up to speed it is faster than mouse clicks.

    but the controller does not replace the mouse 100%

    There's a couple of things like changing pad colours that can only be done with the mouse, but 99% of it can be done with the controller. There are some piano roll editing functions that I believe are still faster with the mouse, and I'll use whichever I feel is quicker

    Just got a Studio a couple weeks ago, and so far other than naming a new project and coloring pads, everything I've been able to do completely from the controller. I don't even have the laptop open to see it.
