Cannot delete sample from Instrument

    I'm using logic with Kontakt Mac and I notice I hit the delete key nothing deletes..even the added modules do not delete?I hit delete and i delete my notes in logic..
    I am having this weird problem when trying to delete a module or instrument or just use the delete key with logic 5.3 and Kontakt Mac.
    Everytime I try to select a module and hit the delete key..it either deletes my audio object,my notes or effect Logic not Kontakt..What am I doing wrong?
