cannot drag new samples from browser or finder

I cannot drag new samples from either the browser or finder into samplers or tables. e.g. into the sample lookup in Vectory like I could in R5.1.5
I'm on a 10.6.3 i7 macbook pro.

I've just installed R5.5 under windows 7 and get the same behavior. Anyone else having this problem/found a way around it?

 

yes i can...

it seems you can still drag n drop onto an open Sample Map but not onto the Sampler itself.

as you can open the Sample Map of the Lookup sampler, this is a problem.

please report this in bugtracker. i can see this as a bit of a showstopper, especially if you are doing a gig and want to change the sample in the Loopkup.
