Cannot layer multiple samples on one cell!

In plugin mode, every time I try to add a sample to a cell with an existing sample on it already, it just replaces the sample. I have the newest version 3.2.3, I saw another post on here about that, but it also went unanswered, I scoured the manual but it doesn't have any specific reference to this other than a explanation about making velocity layers, and in the manual addendum it only mentions the features about loading more than one cell in one go. Is this a bug? Has anyone figured this out or even had this problem? All I'm trying to do is layer my drums. Thanks for any insight.

 

On the Battery GUI, go into settings. You should see an option for that, second column, 6th option down..

 

Thanks for the reply. I saw that one already, the name of the feature has changed and it only refers to loading multiple samples at once as opposed to what I'm trying to do which is load samples on a pad one by one for layering that way.

 

Since it seems like only one other person is having this pad layering problem, can somebody share their solution? NI? I mean come on man, I got Maschine, K8U and 3 soundpacks and I can't get an answer from NI on their own forum. You guys products are outstanding, but your service is severely lacking at least in this Battery forum.
