I'm using windows 7 64 bit professional and before on my xstation 25, all I had to do was set the ASIO driver to Novation USB ASIO. Now when I go into the audio tab, it says driver is ASIO, device is E-MU ASIO, status is running and sample rate is 44.1

I can use my soundcard in reaper, soundbooth cs4, live 8, and reason 5, and this is the only standalone that doesn't cooperate with my soundcard. I have changed the theme in windows 7 to basic instead of aero. I know soundbooth was having issues with it and it fixed it there. As for VST mode in live 8, Kontakt 4 still works there.

    Anyone have a clue?

Me neither. I can get it to work standalone WASAPI, with some major delay, but no sound in ASIO with EMU 0404.

I figured it out. Open up patchmix dsp and see what channel strip is right next to wave 1/2. Is it ASIO 3/4?

If it is make sure the preferences in kontakt standalone are for the emu asio. Now when you load up an instrument like abbey roads drums there should be a mixer at the very bottom. There the deafult output should be 1/2=1Left and 2 Right. You can change thouse audio channels to 3/4 3 Left and 4 Right.

    See if that works.

I have the 1616 so my main asio out is 15/16. I set the main kontakt mixer out to 15 Left and 16 Right.
