cannot run razor 1.5 properly in ableton live 9.6.1

    have tried razor even in komplete kontrol and maschine 2.2 separately. lowered or raised sampling rates in ableton. changed to low quality within app. cpu goes over in app and crackles and pops. tried on my imac too but that is 2007 model and 4gb ram. 64 bit plugin or 32 tried with 32 bit ableton or 64 bit. but the fact that using no daw causes cpu issue eliminates the daw. any solutions welcome. too bad because it sounds amazing other than pops and crackling..
    other NI plugins run fine and other daws etc.

    cpu is amd Athlon 6 core and 16 gb ram. ssd drive for app and 7200 rpm drive for libraries.

    any help appreciated.

    Congratulations, you managed to beat us all with a few years using Live 9.6.1 in 2014, that wasn't released until April 13 2016, less than a week ago. Though I suspect you in reality had the issues with Live 9.1.6.

    Did you solve this? Sounds to me you were using up a core with Razor. Reaktor unfortunately doesn't, as far as I know, have multi-core support.

    You didn't mention which audio interface you were using?
