Cannot un-install Kontakt Player 3

    I had KP3/Steven Slate 3.5 EX installed on my E: partition (secondary drive), which has died. Want to re-install to the D: partition on my primary drive, but I cannot first un-install both Steven Slate and Kontakt. The un-install app tries to reference the E: partition, which does not exist. I then just tried to just install Steven Slate, but it won't proceed until the old install is removed, which can't happen because the drive (and partition) do not exist. I'm in a Catch 22 situation. How do I un-install Kontakt from a drive that doesn't exist? Thank you.
