So I try to authorize my Komplete 4 bundle, which I have to do using offline authorization, since my main machine isn't connected to the internet. I generate the HTML file I need, take it to my laptop, go to NI's site, create my account and attempt to register and authorize the software, and---NOTHING. I get a lousy page with a submit button I'm supposed to click on to submit the authorization, and every time I do, absolutely nothing happens at all.

I've sent an email to NI support, and haven't received any response whatsoever. So now I've been sitting for days with software I paid for but cannot use, and no help at all on fixing the problem.

I've always been a legitimate user and buyer of software, but it's garbage like this that makes me understand guys who use cracks, when legitimate paying users have to deal with crap like this. UNACCEPTABLE.

    Hello zboy,

maybe two magic words can help you:

    Service Center

This is the way to go for registration of NI products, not via the "NI site". I also activated all my NI products offline via the send/return files. You see, it is absolutely possible. And by the way, it´s very hard ignoring the existence of the NI Service Center and its purposes during the installation process and on the first pages of every NI manual.

    Greetings,
    Andreas.

zboy, please let us know if the Service Center method works for you. If not, a support colleague will chime in here shortly.

    Regards, Thomas

    @ Thomas Martin

Edit accepted, but sometimes I am simply tempted to use the same words/phrases/contents as the previous poster did, just to show them how their writing works on others ... mirror-style ;-)

    So far,
    Andreas.

I am having the exact same activation problem as zboy (although with Kontact 2 Player...) and I am using Service Center.

I downloaded & installed the latest version of NI Service Center, exported the activation file, transported it to a PC with internet access, opened the file, and when I hit "SEND", my browser goes blank and locks up.

    Hi,

there was a problem with the offline activation on our website for a few hours. This has been fixed some hours ago, so that it will work when trying again. We would like to apologize for this major problem with the offline activation.

A few weeks ago there was a problem for a while also. I tried re authorizing all my products after a motherboard
change and none of them authorized with the offline method. It kept saying invalid file or something of the kind when I tried to import the activation file into the service center.

    @ zboy2854

I wanna excuse myself for my first post in this thread. Given the fact that you already created the html-request file shows me that you had aready used the Service Center ... but I reognized it as recently as now. Sorry for that, but more important your problems seems to be solved, now.

    Andreas.

Well, it seems to be one bad trip after another with my NI experience. I retried the offline activation, and this time it worked--sort of. It authorized MOST of the NI programs, but tells me that "No qualifying bundle master is registered" for Vokator, Spektral Delay and Pro-53. Yet my Komplete 4 packaging tells me that they were indeed supposed to be included with the bundle that I paid for, and that is certainly what the rep at Sweetwater who sold me the bundle told me.

I've tried generating a separate authorization file for those three programs, but every time I try to open them I get the activation window again, telling me those three aren't activated.

Dear God, all I want to do is use all the software I paid for. But apparently that's not meant to be.
