    Hi guys,
I'm just getting into DJing and I'm not exactly sure how I should set up Traktor LE to allow for cuing. Basically, I'd like to be able to preview track B in my headphones while track A is playing over the speakers. I've tried pushing the headphone button below the gain for track B, but it just plays audio from both tracks through my speakers and headphones.

I'm running a MacBook OS X 10.6.6, Traktor LE, and a Tascam US-144MKII audio interface as my output. Below are screenshots of both my output routing and the general Traktor screen.

    Thanks for your help!

Turn the Mix Knob in the Master Panel to the right side!
    And CUE the Deck

I tried this but no luck :(

I think the problem might be with my audio interface, the Tascam US-144mkII. When I open up the control panel it says that
    LINE OUTPUTS
    ch. 1
    ch. 2

    DIGITAL OUTPUTS
    ch. 3
    ch. 4

There's no option to setup the headphone output to a certain channel so that could be a problem.

But, that doesn't explain why when I have my second track cued and the Mix Knob turned to the right that both tracks still play over the speakers...

The headphones are probably fed with the same signal as the speakers because they go through the same channel.

I could have sworn I wrote more than just that...

Apparently your Interface has a stereo analog out and a stereo digital out.

It is rare for interfaces to have a seperat channel for headphones only, so it's probably that the headphones are exactly the same channel as the cinch connections.

If you yue and hear the music over the main output do you have your faders down?

This is the conclusion I came to as well.

I was able to return the Tascam and instead picked up a NI Audio 2 DJ from another store. So far the Audio 2 has worked like a champ.

    Thanks for the help!
