Can't figure the user tuning system out

I'm trying to create a 22edo custom tuning and it's just not working out. I have "octave link" turned on and, from my understanding, I should have both keys per octave and octave interval set to 22. I start entering my frequency values starting at A_3(69) and keeping this at 440 and go up the scale. When I get to the 22nd note everything seems Ok, but then I play what would be the 23rd note (which should be another A = 880) and it's not. If I set this to 880, it then changes my original A=440 to 246.941... And going up the list beyond where I had entered there are now other weird jumps. I can't identify any rhyme or reason to why this is. Can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong?


EDIT: Never mind.. the manual is a little misleading, I think. For things like EDO you want to leave the Octave Interval as 12 and only change the keys per octave (in this case 22).
