I am dead new to Reaktor but I am watching videos on reaktortutorials.com and in the 3rd video it shows him right-clicking the background and there is a large list of instruments and effects. He imports a synth called ANALOG. The problem is my list of instruments is very small and I don't see ANALOG at all. I've got Komplete 11 Ultimate though so I should have everything. I don't know if I installed Reaktor wrong or if there is a button I need to click. Any assistance finding my instruments would be greatly appreciated.

analog is a part of the reaktor 5 library, so it may be in a different folder now, i forget which.

if you are using reaktor 6, i strongly suggest checking out the new, just released, series on the site called "building for beginners". it has it's own category, and there are 2 hours worth of video (so far) geared towards complete beginners. they are better than the old beginner's videos as i have a lot more experience doing this sort of thing now, and a lot of minor interface changes have occurred with reaktor 6. i'll be updating it until it's about 4 hours long.

Ok, I tried to open Reaktor 5 and it says it's a demo version. I installed it from Native Access and it says I need service center installed to activate it. There is no service center in native access. Any ideas on how to get it to be a full version? Also, I have Komplete 11 Ultimate so it should be a full version.

John Ian, ensembles/instruments from reaktor 5 library are loadable in Reaktor 6. You don't need to install reaktor 5.

i haven't looked at those videos in forever, but if you look at the NEW videos that i referenced, they not only cover much of the same material (particularly in the beginning, where you are) they also do it in a way that works for the version of Reaktor that you own.

in fact, the video on building with instruments you are talking about is particularly outdated as it concludes by saying that building by connecting instruments together is mostly unsatisfying and doesn't work too well, which could not be further from the truth now that blocks has been introduced.

    in this series:

    https://www.reaktortutorials.com/categories/building-for-beginners/10228/media

almost an hour is devoted to the basics of building with instruments. so i really urge you to check out the new videos. heck it may even show you where all your instruments are ;)

I did look up those videos earlier. Sorry for not responding. I was able to watch the first two videos so far. Aside from not knowing why I have a demo version of Reaktor 5 I guess this topic is solved.

cool, if you still really want to find Analog, it's not bundled as an instrument anymore (at least, I don't think it is), but you can load the ensemble version from the Reaktor Factory Library folder, in the Synthesizer subsection.

This may be a dumb question but how do I load the ensemble. I looked around at the installation directory for Reaktor 5 and found the ensemble/synthesizer folder but I don't see ANALOG.

i show how to load ensembles in the 2nd video (i think) that i linked to you.

find the Reaktor Factory folder in the player tab of the browser, and find the synthesizer folder inside that. find sound school analog and double click it.
