Can't find any sample maps to change in Skanner?

Am i missing something really simple here?


Have the full version of Reaktor so i should be able to load my own samples. But when i open up the sample map editor there is nothing there. No maps, no samples and no way of creating a new map or import any samples or anything.

I thought it might be because i was using it in "Reaktor player" so i saved a copy of it in my user folder but still no luck.

Can anyone give me a pointer as to what i can do?

Nevermind, just realized it doesn't use a sample map and its just drag and drop.

there are actually 12 Lookup Samplers!

inside the Skanner structure, there is a Macro called Samples. inside that you will find a Stacked Macro named Stacked Macro, inside the Stacked Macro you will find 12 Macros with a Lookup Samplers inside.

I opened things up and looked around at first, too. But you can just drag a sample onto the GUI sample display area to make a change. Make sure you save things under a different name so you can always use the original.

 

I own the full version of Reactor and Skanner XT. Yesterday after futzing for a while I finally got the drag and drop of a sample to work..

Today, I cannot import any samples. Is there something I am missing?

Is there a switch to set to allow import?

I did just update Reactor to the latest version. v 5.7.0

Maybe that's when it killed sample input.

You need to turn on Edit mode (new in 5.7) and you can only add samples graphically from the Reaktor browser.

 

I only have regular Skanner but I think it must be the same method. You can drag the samples right onto the litte brown zoom bar or right click on the little brown zoom bar for a load menu.

 

Where is these "Edit Mode"?

I still haven't been lucky to drop a sample into Scanner XT... where is these "edit mode" button?

 

It's at the top or you can press F1

How can you save the samples that you have dragged into the sample window so that the next time you open, you will still have your new snapshot?
