Bought Komplete recently, and all works great except Vokator. Either standalone or in Sonar, can't get live input (tape works ok for input A, but can't get any input signal into A). Have an M-Audio 66, have tried both ASIO and DirectSound input, tried increasing buffers, but when I set A input as Live, nothing shows up. I feel like I'm missing something basic, but have wrestled off and on for weeks with no success. Any thoughts by anyone would be MOST appreciated!!! I keep hearing how great Vokator is, and it's very frustrating to own it and not be able to use it, as you can imagine.

    Thanks very much.

You're not alone. I have the exact same problem and it's really getting on my nerves. It works fine using the tape player to run the modulation source, but it doesn't work at all when trying to use two live inputs.

Going through the Vokator forum, it seems there are a lot of people with the exact same problem and nobody has posted a solution.

If anyone knows how to get Vokator working as a VSTi with two live inputs, please post it.

    Hello,

please note that we are now talking about three different interfaces: ASIO, VSTi and DXi. All these not working correctly ? Rather not......There is probably just a missunderstanding why this would not work for you. For example, while MarkLP talks about "VSTi" (note: not VST) actually I have to say that VSTi does not have an audio input, only VST can have external input. OK, probably it was ment to say "VST" I guess. Please read the Vokator manual carefully how to setup external input in your host (also the Readme contains informations about this for some hosts). However, if you have still problems with this, please refer to NI support:

Yes, I meant VST and not VSTi.

In regards to reading the manual, I have done this and confirmed numerous times that I am setup properly, but it still doesn't work.

The VST and DX versions are supposed to be used the exact same way, yet the VST version doesn't function with two live inputs and the DX version does. I can follow the exact same steps with each version, but the VST version will not work with two live inputs.
