Cant hear any sound through headphones

Hey im using the Numark Mixtrack Pro with traktor 2 and everything works fine apart from I get no sound what so ever through my headphones. I'm just learning to beatmatch and this would help me out alot if anyone had any suggestions why its not working..

can you post a screenshot of your output routing settings from preferences pane

 

Sure, ive only got the Numark controller goin into my computer by USB.

But this is what the output routing looks like.

 

they look like outputs from a PC soundcard.

so, can you select the Numark outputs from the Monitor or Master routing?

 

No in the outputs I only get the option

1:SoundMAX HD Audio O 1
2:SoundMAX HD Audio O 2

Up to 8.

 

then you have to connect your headphones to the corresponding jack on the back of your PC.

if you choos"audio-Setup" and then choose your mixtrack you can prelisten with your mixtrackand the master will work with your mixdeck.

 

not into my mixtrack? if i select The mixtrack from audio setup I hear nothing.

If I have it how ive got it when the headphone button is active even when there should be no sound from the right deck it plays through my speakers like it should through my headphones. its like its picking up the speakers as headphones....

 

I've got exactly the same problem with exactly the same equipment.

On master output I have channel 3 + 4 (mixtrack 1 + 2)
On monitor output I have channel 1 + 2 (HD Audio sound)

 

Headphone Problems with Traktor Pro/Mixtrack Pro

In Traktor Pro:

Go to Audio Setup:

Audio device ASIO4ALL v2
Latency 1024 (depending on how fast your CPU is)

Build-in Soundcard:
ASIO4ALL v2

Go to Outputs:

Mixing mode Internal
Output Monitor
L 3:USB Audio Device 3
R 4:USB Audio Device 4

Output Master
L 1: USB Audio Device 1
R 2: USB Audio Device 2

same issue here as well. in fact i'm finding that virtually nothing work with itunes, mac and pro 2. it's a shambles.

 

Shambles? No.

I use a Mac and it's all working fine for me - I use iTunes node in Traktor without issues.

How do you explain that?

 

I found this document to be very helpful for this setup. I had everything working with the proper outputs set and I could get sound out of my laptops sound system and cue everything into the headphones.


But for some reason now I am only getting sound out of my headphones. I have reinstalled the ASIO sound drivers/Traktor with no success. Any clues for this Digital DJ adventure?
