    Hello again,

I loaded a wav sample into the "Audio" plugin in the sequencer hoping to maintain it's tempo source against my tempo project.

The problem is, I can't move the sample wav into the second bar where the yellow arrow is. How can I do that with MK3?

I would like the sample to start at the second bar (Didn't put it on sampler because the sample then will not be in sync with my tempo). Sample has 110 BPM and my project has 90 BPM. By adding the sample into Audio plugin instead makes it synced with the BPM of my Project.

AFAIK, this is not possible. If you want to trigger samples anywhere in the pattern you need to use the sampler. The sampler has time stretching, too, IIRC, but you would have to do that manually as opposed to the audio module which is automatic

Use the audio module in Gate playback mode, then you can draw in an event that starts at the second bar and the stretch it out for the length you want it to play.

re-reading, this may not be a solution for your issue... if you are looking to shift the start of the sample shown to start on the second bar, you might need to do some editing and add a bar of silence at the beginning of the sample...you can still use gate mode so that only parts add the sample that are not silent are actually played.

I will check again the time stretching in the Sampler, I already played around with it and noticed that the time stretching in the sampler distorted the 100 BPM sample and I can't align it (warp it) with the 90 BPM of the project. Maybe you guys have a nice tutorial how to perfectly time stretch samples to match the BPM of a project?

Looks like NI has a different approach with the sequencer. As I am also a Reason user, once you put an audio sample into the sequencer, you can move it through the bars which is very handy if you want to start the sample at specific bar. This doesn't seem to be the same with the Audio plugin on MK3. Also does not matter if you truncate the sample or cut the sample, it can't be moved to a specific bar and also once you increase your bars pattern lets say from 2.0.0 to 4.0.0, it will loop the sample over :(
