Can't pre-listen to tracks ?

Hi all,
I've just got myself a Numark Omni Control and I have it connected up to the trial version of Traktor Pro. The Omni control is working perfectly, all knobs and sliders are mapped perfectly. I'm having problems with the headphone part and I believe the problem is with Traktor itself. I can preview a track in my headphones using the preview player. When a track is loaded onto a deck, I select the Headphone option to have it play over the headphones only but it comes out across both speakers and the headphones. I have the mix knob turned fully anti-clockwise to 0%. I can't figure out what's wrong, the controller is working perfectly and when I preview the song it comes out only across the headphones.
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

 

You may need to make a change in the preferences under audio output -- make sure that the monitor channel is pointing to the channel where you have your headphones plugged in.

 

same problem

i just bought the omni control, i went through the setup wizard, i have my headphones plugged in where they need to be, i also have the output routed by RCA cables to the speakers.. the mixing mode is "internal"... also i have the PH Mix all the way to the left "Cue"
Output Monitor:
L 3: out 3
R 4: out 4

Output Master:
L 1: out 1
R 2: out 2

I CAN'T HEAR the songs i want to cue, and use i do use the PFL button, but all i get is both tracks playing on the speakers and my headphones at the same time... i desperately need help!

could it be, that you have the volume turned up?
