JesterMgee: Eye-cancer is a flowery-phrase. You get eye-cancer from yellow-text-on-white-paper-printings, senseless color-grade-textures and many more strange impressions you may see. This is a common expression that without any relation to a real illness. I don't know if something like eye-cancer really exists.

Ah, yeah hard to tell if someone is being pedantic, sarcastic or ill informed in posts.

Cancer can affect every part of you, eye cancer is a real thing but this is completely off topic.

Wow, such a nice reply for a Support Member.
Irony is the best way to treat your customers, bravo

Well, how about that, mr. Chandler Bing?
There is quite a number of similar requests. Native Instruments admit, that this is a common request.
Which number and statistics do you need?

Years go by, but there's no any certain answer YES/NO regarding this issue. What's so hard about this?

Saying it's a "common request" still doesn't mention any statistics behind it. Also NI is usually not privy to state their roadmap plans for feature request inclusions. At least this was almost never the case with Komplete related products. So, it is NI's choice to decide what they will say (or not say) regarding this particular suggestion.

Also, I'm not an official NI representative here (forum moderators aren't being paid by NI, also moderators are not to be taken as representatives of NI, unless they have @ NI in their username). Anything I say are my own thoughts and are not affiliated with NI. Says so right below in my signature. So, you (or anyone else here) are not my customer, and I can use irony and sarcasm as much as I want, within forum rules. ;)

+1 for a setting to disable the Light Guide please. It's handy in some scenarios and distracting in others.
Producing a track using loads of Komplete instruments with keyswitches; handy.
Scoring in Dorico using it for note entry; distracting.
Playing a gig that may be televised; potential to look like My First Keyboard.

More than one year later, looks like the "disable Light Guide" feature is still not available, please add another user to the supporters of this feature! :)

Are the lights actually supposed to do anything, mine just stay a distracting blue all the time?
