Carl Cox Crash & Burn on traktor S8

i could not reproduce that.

 

im not going through all of the map, to find out which causes it, but most crashes on windows will end up with a message box asking if you want to dump the crash, just shutting down is probably a buffer overflow or a memory read/write error

well, to find out what is crashing your computer, this has to be done. please get in contact with the NI support and send them your mapping.
not sure, what you have mapped, but on my end all browser related mappings are simply doing what they are supposed to and dams sure i dont have crashs!

 

its not mine thats crashing, if i leave the browser stuff mapped it might crash, but in carl cox`s youtube video, the crash has no crash dump message box after, and just shows the iwndows desktop

the vms4.1 has touchpads, its easier to just use the browsers context menu and load tracks

 

Couple of things ... Carl Cox used a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.10 ... so it certainly does not show the "windows desktop" ...

And if you look at the video there is a pop-up box telling you that Traktor has indeed crashed as part of the way OS X works, it's a console message with logs attached.

I spoke to him a few weeks after that crash about it and the issues have been rectified in newer versions of Traktor.

 

if its a mac book, then hes abit sad having the windows XP default desktop image

 

I have never experienced any of these issues. Sounds more like midi conflicts.
