I've had TSP for a fortnight now and I've messed around with all the settings to make it work for me. Everything is fine apart from one little niggle: When I initially press "cue" on my decks I get a "cd skipping" message. When I let the track play normally I don't get the message. I don't hear the track skipping either when I'm pressing "cue" repeatedly. Normal audio cd's play absolutely fine so I don't think the decks are a problem there. I was just curious if this is the way time code cd's work with TSP or is there some sort of glitch in the software that might be rectified in future? Has anyone else noticed this?
    My settings are:

    XP SP3 (32-bit) (18 services running)
    DVDROM, Bluetooth, Networking: disabled
USB Buffer: 1ms Audio Buffer: 6ms
    Sample Rate: 96kHz
Keylock Quality: HiQ Keylock Range: +/- 30%
    Deck A/B Cache: 256MB
    Autogain: on
    Absolute Mode: on

If you are using the Pioneer CDJ 100 it is a well known problem since before, it is not a program error, it is CD player error. If you wanna read more about the CDJ 100 problems search in the TS section of the forum.

I see now in your sign that you have the 800 CD's. I have used them alot without any such errors. Is there maybe an upgrade of the firmware availeble for the players?

Just checked the firmware on my 800's and they have the latest version (2.10). Thanks for you reply, I'll keep fine tuning to see if it can be improved, maybe in the buffer settings...
