Instructions how use the improved CDJ HID support in Traktor Pro 2.5:
    http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1040934&postcount=7

So people need to delete the existing CDJ mapping and configure it again in 2.5 to get the new improved jogwheel behaviour.

CDJ2000 on Traktor 2.5 -> midi indicator blinking

Deleted the Traktor 2.1.3 midi mapping and connected my CDJ2000's and got it properly working on HID advanced, but the midi indicator keeps blinking like crazy even when both players are idle, no other controller attached. Also in a silent room. What's going on?

Who's using the so-called HID improvement on a regular basis now?

Can you share your experience with us, if possible. :)

Im using CDJ 2000s connected to USB Hub, disconnected and deleted mapping in preferences. Changed setting on CDJ from standard to advanced. Reconnected and if there is a slight difference i couldn't tell you. Thats how minor it is. Really disappointed!

Thx but..... its a bit to late for me. I have since sold all my NI Traktor gear and no longer use a computer to play live. I organize with rekordbox and play off a usb stick. Way more fun to play this way than using Traktor. The sound is better to IMO. NI lost a customer.

Finally they care for it! Cheers! :p
That news really made my day!

+cough+ Now give us the option to assign the deck waveforms in Traktor either horizontally or vertically next to each other and with a little luck you might have TWO market competitors less *evil grin*

Over the weekend, I finally installed 2.5 after getting and testing the updated DB4 tsi. The CDJs were next so I deleted the 2.1.3 tsi settings, replugged the CDJs but didn't realize that I had left the HID setting on ADVANCED for 30 minutes into the test. I was having some issues and once I realized what was going on, I checked the HID setting and changed them to STANDARD but had to stop Traktor and reboot. I transitioned to USB while it rebooted and after the reboot, it was stable and functional enough that all I can say is: It's usable while you wait a little bit longer for ADVANCED HID.

Having the DB4 and K2s in the mix is unreal too but....hey, you can use it despite the lack of features you'd have with ADVANCED HID.

BTW, in addition to the USBs, I kept the network cable linking my two CDJ and am not sure if that actually helped.

Traktor HID Mode is finally out. We have wave lengths on the CDJ at last. Time mode finally works and needle search. Still could do with tightening up the latency and maybe add reverse switch and vinyl speed adjust. One step at a time I suppose

    Hey benanderson,

I get the point with the missing reverse switch and the vinyl speed adjust which is missing. What I do not get are your latency issues. Actually the Jogwheel integration should be really tight. Do you have the feeling it's much tighter with the CDJ in standalone mode? What's your system setup?

    Cheers

Just wanted to say thanks to NI for finally implementing this :)
Will try it as soon as I get my hands on a pair of CDJ2000s...

My preferred next steps would be adding the missing vinyl speed adjusts (I couldn't play without the occasional turntable like slow stop :)), reverse switch functionality (why is this so hard, Timcode already does this too?) and support for the CDJ850 & 350.

Here's hoping the CDJs track info can be user configurable in the Traktor Settings.

Is this possible or can you only have certain info displayed on the LCD like CDJ1000s? Ie the display has a hardware limitation?
