New CDJ 3000 & DJM V-10 Latency issues

Hi Jonas C @ NI,

I am still having high latency issues with CDJ3000 playing in HID mode.
The same feelings when I am trying using the audio interface of DJM V-10 using HID mode of CDJs 3000 or the Traktor timecode sinal in USB stick. This never happens using this USB with DJM-900Nexus, DJM-400, XDJ-1000/700.

I'm using a MacBook Pro with Core i7 3.0Ghz/8GB Ram/macOs Mojave

I have the same issue AND this is after updating the firmware to latest on the CDJs. The latency on the jog wheel in vinyl mode makes it unusable.

 

I have the same issue with XDJ1000 mk2s using 3.5, so I wouldn't be surprised if the two are linked. There's a ticket for the latency issue with XDJ1000 mk2s already being worked on.

Windows 10 on two different laptops. The problem exists on 3.5.
I haven't updated to 3.5.1 yet as there were no assurances on the release notes that this issue that been resolved.
I reverted back to 3.4.2 for the time being.

First is an i7-4720HQ, 16GB ram / Windows 10 Version 20H2
Second is an i5-8550u, 8GB ram / Windows 10 Version 21H1

 

Thank you for the response. The latency issues we had experienced were resolved by updating the drivers and firmware. If none of this has worked for you could you perhaps please share a video recording with us? Thank you

 

I am on a Mac 11.2.3, traktor 3.5.1.277, CDJ3000 firmware 1.11.

The behavior when comparing Traktor to Rekordbox is that that when scratching with the job wheel the Traktor cue point drifts sometimes ahead sometimes behind and once in a while will skip far ahead. It's non-deterministic AND you have to really look at the wave form to stay on the beat. Note: Lowering the buffer size to 2.7MS helped improave accuracy but just a hair.

If you close your eyes it's really hard to know where you are at. Now in Rekordbox - same track, etc. you can hammer on the cue point while the job wheel and it tracks very accurate.

What is going on?

I upgraded to 11.5.1 with traktor 3.5.1.277, CDJ3000 firmware 1.11 AND am still seeing the issue.

It slowly drifts ahead and then jumps forward and sometimes backwards.

In Rekordbox this tracks super tight and does not drift.

What is going on?

 

Thank you for the video it has really helped us understand the issue. We have raised a ticket and are looking into it.

 

ETA on a fix? I am dead in the water here. Only choice is to migrate to Rekordbox.

Previous versions of Traktor do not support CDJ3000s.

I am still not able to use the CDJ-3000s with Traktor. I upgraded to latest Mac OS. Same behavior. When is the next service release for Traktor?
