New CDJ 3000 & DJM V-10 Latency issues

as well as scratching issues, on my XDj 1000 MK2 i find the cue button has same issue. Even if snap and quantise are off, I cant even get an eighth note roll out of cue button drumming , and never in time .. In rekord box you can drum quite sophisticated patterns on the Cue Button..useful for triggering sounds etc . unusable in Traktor. so with the Jog and Cue both feeling very laggy it makes it hard.

 

Hey felixt, we haven't encountered any issues on with the CUE, would it be possible for you to give us a breakdown on your setup - OS, etc and perhaps a video of the issue you are experiencing

 

That looks like the encoder mode issue.

 

What is the status for a fix for this?

 

According to https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/beta-3-5-2-284-uploaded.460709/ it will be fixed in an upcoming beta.

 

Thanks Erik. As 13+ year user of Traktor I am getting increasingly concerned about Native's ability to 1) maintain current product quality 2) innovate at at a competitive pace. I have been tracking their fix list on this release and its slow and does not make sense relative to priority. How is "
NEW : Beatport and Beatsource Offline Locker Icon" more important than getting CDJs to work correctly? They push press releases and social campaigns to drive demand but the product does NOT WORK! Sorry to vent - just super frustrated as I have not been able to dial in my workflow. I am a few days away from abandoning my decade plus investment with NI and moving to Rekordbox.

 

To be fair, Serato have only just (today) released support for the CDJ3000s despite promising it nearly a year ago.
Pioneer have just updated their firmware for the units (also today).

Might be worth updating the firmware and running 3.5 again to see if there's been any improvement?

 

Updated both CDJs to latest firmware. Same behavior. No change.

This has fixed the issues I was having with my XDJ1000mk2s, so definitely worth checking out to see if it's fixed your CDJ3000 issues!

 

I can confirm this fixed my lag/jumping issues with CDJ3000s. Thanks for the fix.

Yesterday, I have had a little opportunity to do some quickly new tests with CDJs-3000 and DJM-V10.
I was use a MacBook Pro with 8GBRam and core I7 processor and High Sierra and other with the same configuration but using Mojave. (Unfortunelly, with high prices in Apple Computers, here in Brazil the most DJs are still using mac computers from 2010 until 2017).

With Traktor 3.5.1 still the lags using HID mode, although CDJs was in the last firmware 1.22
With Traktor 3.5.2 BETA I feel so much better but still with a little lag using the Jog and Hot Cues buttons in HID mode.

With DJM-V10 using your onboard soundcard, I feel a hard lag using timecode controls.
Other toughts I will share in the Public Beta Page.

PS: After Beatport and Beatsource Link, could be great upgrade a integration with TIDAL, because only Traktor that don´t have for a while.
