    Hi guys,

I have been using CDJ 400s with Traktor Pro on my Macbook and the BPM starts to jump up or down randomly for a fraction of a second at random times when the music in the club (playing live) becomes very loud when we turn the amps up to keep up with the size of the crowd. It is an annoyance as it puts off a beatmatched mix and means i have to mix with one hand whilst constantly pitch bending the 400 with the other.

Any thoughts on this problem would be appreciated.

This happens on my CDJ'400s also.

I've found its the vibrations from the speakers/floor/booth where the CDJ's sit on the bench.
What i've resulted in doing, is placing them on a bit of foam, or bubble wrap folded up, just to cushion the vibrations, and it worked for me, no problems.

I wonder if it happens on CDJ 2000s because the club i work at are thinking of upgrading?

The price of those bad boys, you would expect them to work with no issues.

This is happening to me too, interestingly enough though it does NOT occur at the same volume levels (I havent had it happen at all) when using cd's in the CDJ 400s.

Is it a potentially an issue with the sensitivity in relation to traktor, as opposed to a different sensitivity for cd mode?

Yes it does happens with cdj 2000 and pretty much any cdj if they are to near speakers you should always use some form of insulation why do you think tech 12 have a base that is nearly 2 inches thick of insulation lol
