    Greetings
    I use:
    MacBook Pro
    Native Instruments: Traktor Pro
    2 Cdj-400 Pionner (firmware version is 1.30)
    Allen And Heath Xone:1D

The problem comes when I connect my cdj’s in an aggregate device via USB HUB. Sometimes both of the cdj’s are sending midi signals but they don’t work as an aggregate device. Other times only one cdj works as an audio and midi device and the other can’t do anything. When I connect them without a usb hub everything works fine. ( 3-4 times I have succeeded connecting both cdj’s with the hub)
My xone:1D has a common problem with the usb hub. Again when I connect it without a hub, it works fine but with a hub it can’t send midi signals. The four led-buttons can lit up normally.
I have to report also that I have tried various usb hubs with power supply but the problem remains the same. I believe that all properties are correct but as you can understand I can’t connect both my cdj’s and my xone:1D .the problem comes not only with traktor but with other software too.
I can’t find the source of the problem so I am asking for your help. would you recommend me to try some special type of usb hub?
Thank you for your time and sorry for my English I would appreciate your help very much.

I have 2x CDJs and I'm also using them with a USB2 hub. Mine is no name hub and I'm using it without power adapter. I sometimes hook other devices to the same hub and it always works. Laptop is MacBook Pro 13'', but I have also used it with a Dell Latitude D620 Windows laptop.

I know some people are experiencing issues when using non-powered hubs. As you say however, you tried with both powered an unpowered hubs ...

Have you tried connecting the hub to different USB ports? The way the laptops are built is that some of the built-in devices are internally wired & routed to the same USB bus as the external usb ports (through internal hubs). Examples would be- CD Rom drivers, cameras, card readers, etc. Usually there's at least one standalone/free USB external port on each laptop. Sometimes, even more. Your best shot is to find and use this port for connecting your devices.

My final thought would be that you have not specified the brand/model of your laptop and your OS. If I would assume that it's an Intel Core i3/5/7 laptop, then you need to know that the Intel i3/5/7 chipsets have USB3 and it appears that they are USB1 unfriendly - many people are reporting strange/failing behavior. Unfortunately, all the devices you list are USB1.

Can't think of anything more helpful at this time ...

thank you very much for your answer
are you using your cdj's as an aggregate device and midi device both the same time?
if you do that could you please tell me the name of the hub you use?
i have to mention here that in macbook pro 13inch 2.53 ghz it's good to use the port nexto to the mini display.
i solved the 1D problem with a firmware update.
as for the cdj's i have tryed many different connections but nothing works.

yes, I'm using them as Aggregated Device and as HID/MIDI at the same time.

Although I doubt it's the hub causing the issue, mine is Roline USB2.0 very similar to: http://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich...lack-and-white-4port-14-02-5010-rotronic.html.

the MBP13 is not subject to the USB1 computability issues, so it's out of the equation. The USB port next to the mini-display port is the better port in the 13'' - it's shared only with the internal bluetooth ( System Profiler -> USB has this info). Even though, mine are working perfect on both ports of the 13'' ...

Are you using FW1.30 on the 400s? Have you set different Midi Channels for the two CDJs. Also the 1D needs to be on a separate MIDI channel?

Hey, did the different hub solve your problem? We have the same issue here, when connecting two cdj-400´s directly everything works fine, but when using a (any) kind of USB hub it seems to be totally random. Sometimes it says 'turn encoder' only on one side, sometimes they both work... it really can drive you crazy!

Hi guys, I'm having the same problem, have you found a solution ? I've tried a range of powered and non powered hubs. I wonder if I reinstall traktor again from the start using the hub it may work? I'm using pioneer djm 600 mixer, nothing else plugged into the hub but I want to use an external hard drive hence needing the hub as macbook only have 2 usb ports
