Okay, I'm getting tired of burning cd's now, and I was wondering how I can setup my laptop along with CDJ1000 and DJM800..

I want to be able to load music onto the CDJ's and play from CDJ as if there was a CD in...

How do I do this? Is it possible with traktor?
    ---
by the way, I have a Toshiba Equium, will traktor work on this system as I've read a thread regarding problems with Toshiba laptops...

    Thanks

You'll need Traktor Scratch Pro/Duo which will come with the relevant soundcard plus timecode. If you can find it anywhere, you can probably get it for half price.

...and then create a new partition on you HDD to which you can dual-boot. Install on this partition nothing else but a plain copy of Windows and Traktor Scratch - this should give you a glitch-free Toshiba.

You can't necessarily play your Traktor files through your CDJ. Your CDJ will play a timecoded CD, which sends signals to Traktor Scratch Pro via your Audio 4/8's inputs to determine the rate of playback and track position of the song currently loaded into the corresponding deck in Traktor. That in turn then plays the song out through the sound card's outputs just as it would in any other version of Traktor.

So yeah, Timecode w/ TSP + New Partition = Flawless Victory.
