Yes, you can use the X1 in the setup configuration. I too recently got a pair of the cdj 2000nxs2, but what i did instead of using the audio 10 as a soundcard : is,
1, plug a usb cable in the back of each cdj (the cables, i then plug into a hub, the hub into the laptop, (*** tip for mac) always use the back usb port as it doesn't have the same interupts on it as the front usb ports.), use the cdj aggregator to group together, and use the cdj's in advanced HID mode.
    then
2, literaly just plug the x1 into the laptop, the x1 will flash asking to select a deck, push the encoders to select decks A & B, and there you have it all working.

The x1 will control the fx units, but also in conjunction with the cdj's, control the loop functions, cue/play functions.

    Hi all,
Is there anyway to run two CDJ2000s, two X1s and DJM900 nexus, where the CDJS have a channel each and the X1s also control an extra channel therefore having four decks? without timecode CDs?

Yes. You would need a 4 port USB hub to connect the CDJs and X1s to.

    Hi Erik,
Thanks for your reply. Yep I have a usb hub and all plugged in. Traktor recognizes the X1s perfectly. All functions work as well as lm the cdjs. One the left side I have one x1 and one cdj, one channel from x1 controls the cdj and then another channel has it's own deck, say deck A and B. Same thing for other side. Only problem is, I can get the output from cdj channels through to the mixer, but the x1s other deck plays through the same channel. How would I map the external output channels so each deck has it's own channel?

I meant to say I CANT get each deck to have it's own channel output through the DJM900

You should use the DJM-900 as your sound card. Then just go to Preferences > Output Routing and assign each deck to unique channels.

Tried that, it all comes through one channel only. And doesnt show multiple deck options. I'll take some photos tonight and share them here. But I am determined to do it because I've seen youtube videos of others that have achieved it. All drivers are up to date.
