CDJ400, DDM4000 Behringer, TraktorS..Pro-Áudio8

Hi as noticed , I have 2 cdjs 400(Pioneer) and a DDM 4000 Behringer Mixer. Now I have used the Behringer Mixer and midimapped It In Scratch Pro...works perfect.

But I wanted to use My full setup so I just ordered The Traktor Scratch Pro with Audio8...

Can u use both cdj400s now with my external mixer and Traktor Pro..? and do I need any tks for for both the cdjs and external mixer ...Or Is it possibel to somehow midimapp teh external mixer to use effects and stuff also.

Can someone help me out, Im receiving my package next week but want some tips... If anyone has the same equipment and good tks to post i would be happy.

I guess I cant use the the effects on the cdj 400 in Traktor..but If I dont use the software sometimes and just use the audio 8 as an soundevice on my comp...Will it be possible to use normal cds and get the effects on my laptop without using any timecodes..djing online sometimes thats why Im asking. Anyone with more knowledge Im new to this setups..

 

DJ_EDDIE888 in short the answer is No and YES.

No you can not use CDJ400's and MIDI mapping at the same time and have full function. IE. while in MIDI mode you would loose the Cross Fader to analog devises. I've work around 've found is to program DJ 1 as a MIDI user and DJ 2 for analog devises. When you switch you will at least still maintain control of the cross fader.

Yes you will need a TKS file for the DDM 4000 while in Midi mode.

 

what do you mean when you say "get the effects on my laptop"

You can use regular CDs or USB and use the effects with audio coming from this sources. You can't use the effects for any other audio.
If you want record with audio8 the audio signals from your cdjs via your ddm thats possible ...
