Certified 2-Channel Mixer Request & Design

If I may....

- Rane 56 setup & quality, but with a third full channel and internal post-fader FX loop
- YES for the integrated KX1
- Firewire version would be nice, for us SUPERIOR Macbook Pro users who would like to have a free USB port for something else

 

Tell Apple to stop being so damn cheap and overcharging customers for less options!

That will have to be a three channel certified mixer then.

The 56 is three channel only there is no EQ control over the Aux-In line.

The internal route for send FX is crucial I agree.

Firewire, what happens when Apple kills that?

It's been like 6 updates since people started saying that Apple would kill firewire...and to date it's still existent.

 

Regardless, I'm more than happy with my 4-usb, ports, firewire, card reader, e-sata port, HDMI & VGA out plus the dual headphone output.



Good with WinXP too, don't need anything else until Traktor needs more than 2gb of Ram.

I could do without the third channel and BOOOO to firewire, internal post-fader FX loop would be SICK and YYEEEESSSS to the integrated KX1 just split it down the middle and stick one of those parts on each side of the 56! I would buy one in a heartbeat!

 

I will whip you with my 6-pin-to-9-pin firewire cable!

How bout a half-channel like the Ecler Nuo 2.0? You know, no fader so it still looks like a 2-chan, but it's got a volume knob in case you wanna bring in a sample or something.

 

Sounds dope...and as for the whipping...bring it on big daddy...I've been ohh sooo bad!

 

Anyone got any news on when the Vestax PMC-05ProIV will hit stores, even if it's niot certified? Couldn't finf anything on the vestax website! : (

Well, Denon's 'D-day' is coming up and it's the time where they announce their new line of products.

At the beginning of this year the Mike from denon asked what we would like carried over from the x1600 to a 2ch mixer version.

So let's cross our fingers and hope that their new 2 ch mixer will be tsp certified.

The announcements for their new products will be held on aug 16.

 

And if there is one I will be one of the first in line with a handful of virtual cash (stolen from my very real joint account with the missus) to pick one up.

It occurred to me that all this new hardware is coming out, by multiple manufacturers, at the same time as the new version of TSP. Coincidence..........I HOPE not.
