    Hello again Machine Forum

I have one more hopefully simple question .........

I've noticed in a few of my expansion pack projects the tempo is set to like a fine tune, where the two digits after the decimal change.....

I'd like to change that so that it's set to whole numbers like 1 bpm instead of .01 bpm

also this seems to happen in some projects on volume as well.....Is there a way to change that to whole db's ???

it's not on every project so I'm assuming there is a way, thou I could very well wrong.

    Thanks tons .........

Hold shift when adjusting values for finer adjustment .

Totally, I do understand that but my problem is this seems to be "locked on" in some projects.

Have you any experience with this being the case? where holding shift makes no difference it only scrolls in fine increments

Can it be changed so that your answer is the proper way it works.

I'm not sure where I'd find this info in the manual either........I've only noticed it with projects that come with expansion packs.

I made a nice beat using one of these projects as a starting point and it's faders behave differently (not to my liking)

    Thanks Everyone!

Talking about the shift button on the hardware and adjusting the tempo from the hardware jog with shift or jog push. If you are using the MK1 then it has a dedicated tempo knob.

Yeah but I'm using an MK2 controller right now..........

    Here is an example

    Halcyon sky pack

Mountain Dawn works correctly and Aeon Horizons is what i'm talking about.

Notice that shift doesn't do what I think it should in this project and the fine increment is stuck on.....

    Cheers!

    On MK2
    Set jog to tempo
Hold shift and rotate jog to fine increment tempo until it hits even value in the ones place.
From there on it should increment by a whole number the way you want.
You can also push the jog while you rotate to increment fine values.

    Ok awesome!!!!! That's it!

I almost felt I was losing my mind cause I just double checked my example and all projects were behaving with fine tune stuck on.

    Thanks tons you rock!

Is it the same on the studio as well?

Do you know if this is the same for volumes?

My friend has a studio controller I use from time to time and really I first noticed this "fine tune stuck on" with volumes in a very few expansion pack projects.......

I'll do some exploring later but is it maybe the same concept in the case of volume fine tune?
