Choke groups not saved with custom groups

Maschine 2.8.2 - Mac Pro 12 core
Created a new kit from samples assigned to various pads.
Created choke settings for hi-hats across 3 pads.
Saved group by right-clicking group name.
Any subsequent loads of the new kit (if not saved as a project) will lose the choke settings and have to be reapplied with each use.
Also reported by other users on the forum.

 

is the "ROUTING" button highlighted in the lower left corner before loading your kit?

 

Yet another thing I don't know about Maschine then...
No it is not - what does that button do ?...apart from fix this issue ?
Why would a 'routing' button affect kits loading with choke settings ???

You have to think of a group as a blank canvas. The group itself just houses the sounds and effects without any personal tweaks (brush strokes). The routing and pattern buttons are those brushstrokes, so if you want the “full picture” of your group, you need to select routing and patterns or one or the other depending how complete you want the picture to be... sorry for the lame painting analogy, but I find I understand it better when I visualize it that way!

In addition to loading the choke groups it also will load any master/slave link groups that you might have set up as well. It possibly does more but those are what I know off hand.
