    Hi guys,

There's currently a very interesting offer on the Cinesamples instruments. It seems to be a line of products with a solid reputation. The demos sound great too, but I also know it can be VERY misleading.

I'm strongly considering buying the composer toolset to expand my library (currently working on symphonic musics for a video game). But I'd like to know if any of you own these instruments (or at least one of them) and can tell me how they sound compared to NI Symphony Series (I'm a Komplete 12U owner).

Is it a step up, a step down, or an equivalent to the NI Symphony Series? (in term of articulations and sound quality/quantity)
Do you like to work with them, and why?
Would you recommend the composer toolset or only some of the included instruments? And in that case, which ones?

Thanks in advance for your asnwer!

They still seem very expensive to me. I speak from experience by saying don't buy anything based on demos, look at the functionality (keyswitches etc) and workability.
If you have your heart set on cine samples then I'd suggest going over to VI control and search. Plenty of pros there.
Personally, if I were to go again it would be Sample modeling.

I had a look at the forum you mentioned, and there are plenty of threads talking about this offer. Thanks for the tip!

It seems we had the same kind of previous unfortunate experience then... That's why I wanted to hear it from people who actually use it (pro or not, I don't mind). From the complete walkthrough I heard on Youtube, it doesn't seem to be a major step up sound-wise from Komplete 12U (except for harps & percs).

All these great libraries are so expensive, it's true... But that's why the -75% on the bundle makes me wonder if it's time to fill the gaps. The price of the harps and percs alone make this bundle very attractive.
