Hi. I have a vocoder set up in reactor. It uses noise as carrier and my voice as a modulator. I have a problem with a glitchy noise. Whenever i connect something to another module (any other module) the vocoder gives a short burst of white noise. Even though no modulator is connected to the input! Only the carrier is connected. Which would make it impossible for the vocoder to actually make any sounds?!??! The problem is i have some compressors etc later in the chain and the noise burst (the burst only lasts for about 0,5 seconds) is amplified and fries my headphones.. even with the internal gain of the vocoder set to -24 i still get a loud pop.. Anyone?
    Im using the EzFFT vocoder
    Thanks:)

If you are using a delay then it may be the reason especially when changing wires or snapshot change and the delay time changes you get such pops and clicks. This is normal because the delay jumps to another memory address, so you get a click or noise.
There is a solution in core and in my mind but didn't realized yet (no time).

    Thanks!
I am not using a delay, but my guess is that the EzFFT does introduce delay - so yes - i probably have a delay;)
Looking forward to hear from you:)
