Closing standalone Kore displays the message "do you want to save your work?". If I click no, Kore hardware lights up like a Christmas tree and hangs. Restarting Kore standalone clears this. Clicking "Yes" or closing with nothing loaded in Kore standalone works fine.

Between this and your other issues, I'd say something went wrong with your install. Have you tried reinstalling?

Before you do, I'd read this, especially the part about how to do a clean uninstall under OSX.

    Hi,
Did the clean reinstall but it still hangs on closing without saving. I should clarify that by hanging I mean the KORE logo is illuminated on the screen instead of what I would call "screen saver" mode and buttons are illuminated as is the control button. None of these react to pressing.

Hmmm... the main app's crashing, alright. I'm kind of surprised the KORE logo comes up though- the few crashes I've had, the screen stays at the last page I was on.

Let me ask a few questions of some people about this one...

    Hi,
No it's the hardware which is hanging. The app looks like it is closing OK but the hardware hangs which means the system audio also is not available until I reboot the Mac or restart the Kore app and close it without doing anything.

Anyway, I have decide to sell it. I just think it is a solution to a problem which isn't there (for me anyway). I can now quickly layer diverse sounds in the Instrument Rack of Live 6; I know where most of my sounds are and which app to use to get them so I don't need the browser; I find it more intuitive to click and turn a knob on the screen than to take my hand off the mouse to turn a knob on hardware; all my favoured plugins are available in the right format so I don't need a wrapper and I don't work outside of my studio so I don't need a hardware controller. I think for me it was a impulse buy because I have Komplete 3 and thought it might compliment it but it just adds another layer to my workflow which I don't need and which causes more work instead of less. And there are just too many things which "might" appear in an update but which might not. And the dongle thing, not to mention the hardware issues, etc, etc. Looks good though.

I'm still a big NI fan and Komplete constitutes the core (with a "c", not "k") of my studio but I don't need Kore in it's present guise.

    Thanks for the help anyway.

    Regards
    David
