CM Session - still alive?

    I got CM Session from an old Computer Music CD and installed it on my Mac some years ago.

    Now it won't open, telling me that the Registration Period has expired. The old Registration Tool doesn't work anymore - I'm told to use NI Service Center, which tells me that CM Session (amongst all my other NI plugins) is indeed registered.

    ?
    Is CM Session now dead?
    Is there another similar free Kontakt player out there?

    Hi Colin,

    sorry for the late reply. There was a problem with some serial numbers delivered to multiple persons, so that you probably received the message that this serial number is already registered to someone else and could not proceed. Please contact our registration support and provide the serial number you received.

    Thanks for reply Marius.

    I get the alert attached to this post, which clearly says the registration PERIOD has expired. But NI Service Centre says it IS registered to me.

    I will certainly take this up with registration support.

    I think I'm experiencing the same problem. It installed fine, but when I clicked on the register link, it redirected me to a page on the NI site which said I had to use Service Center to activate it.

    I went into Service Center, and although I wasn't prompted to activate it, it appears in my Product Overview as activated.

    However, when I try and open the CM Session Kontakt player, I get an error stating that 'This copy of CM Session is not yet registered'!

    could you solve your issue in the meantime? You indeed have to use the Service Center which you can download here:

    @ ScarKord, you should contact our Registration Support as well and provide your activation request file from Service Center.

    Hello Marius,

    Thanks for asking....yes, I did get sorted out. NI support sent me the registration key and everything is fine. (I did have the latest version of Service Center but for some reason it didn't work)

    ScarKord - maybe NI Support can help you directly too. I think that CM Session relied on the old registration system which no longer operates.
