    file paths would be different

i guess you could change them in an editor via a "simple" find-and-replace

    i wouldn't suggest it

If you have a short period of time dont mess with collection files just grab the tracks your gonna need (plus some extra for good measure) and start a new collection. You can do the whole lot when youve got the extra time on your hands.

Pro will analyse a good few thousand tracks in a few hours. Just get done what you need.

If you use itunes on both machines and have access to the itunes library file from your broken PC you could put that on the mac - there are tutorials on the interweb that tell you how to convert it from PC to mac (mainly just editing the file path info).
You could then use the itunes library in Traktor to sort out some playlists.

in fact, they are - but indeed you have to relocate all tracks due to the file path structure. it's probably easier to export some playlists or just grab the tracks and start a fresh collection as suggested (losing the import date). but possible: yes.

settings files are also compatible. that's why the company is called native instruments ;)
