The thought of opening up my new Maschine freaks me out a bit, but I'd love to see videos of the new colours in action - just in case.

I'm not a fan of the pad height of the thick ones but I would enjoy a slightly softer pad. I never put corx on my mpc's but the corx aren't a bad idea.

also to those of u complaining of loosing sensitivity overtime. if your maschine is out of warranty or u just fee adventurous take ur maschine apart and clean the pads and sensors. (I had this happen to mine and it fixed it right up) I used to clean my mpc sensors once every 5 months or so... maschine is no diffenet except I was able to go 2 years before I needed to clean it
:) good job mike. look forward to seeing more stuff from you guys I'd really like some old school moog looking knobs for maschine. (I just can't ever get all the specs right for ordering the knobs so if you have those specs pass em along ;) )

If you're talking about the moog like knobs at radio shack, I found they are not deep enough nor fit well for Maschine....would have been nice though....would love to have ones that fit perfectly like the original Maschine knobs.

Though this technically goes against the forum rule stating "advertisement of commercial products or services of any kind, unless explicit permission exists" I doubt it will get flagged, voided warranties means more sales of new units for NI ;)

Wouldn't be interested in pimping it for now, but on a more practical note, if you could see through the pads so you could see if any dirt had got onto the contacts that would be superb, don't know if material that dense could be transparent enough though ?

They are now on the mpcstuff.com site and available for order. Will ship in about 1-2 weeks.

Sorry if those think this is commercial as I guess it is in a way although its only after many requests from our company to do this.

Just Curious... what color the machine pads become with orange leds and blue pads?

Can you post some pics of machine with all the different pads or maybe videos?

so better to wait till after christmas to purchase? hopefully the sale price will still be there or an even bigger reduction after christmas as in the uk we tend to have sales after christmas.

can you advise on thise with regard to getting the best price and also when we can expect to see vids and pics of the smoke black and light blue pads.

we really need to see pics of these things fitted and how it looks when it lights up u have provided a good gauge how the clear pads look and also the red pads.

i might be the only one here, but i've been wondering how you put on the wooden panels. they elevate the maschine so im assuming it needs to be opened up for that as well right?

Technically this thread can be seen as against rules. However, it is being allowed for now as an exception so long as it stays civil and contained to one thread. NI does not sell a competing product and there are not many products out there for Maschine. It must be said it is not endorsed by Native Instruments and opening up Maschine will indeed void any warranty.

@bkd3vil, the side panels do not require you to open up the controller.
