COLORS! Browser area.

Written on 14-December 2013..... Obviously there are other priorities than the current NI customers....

 

i agree in particular i would want the tracks to change color after you play them like in serato. the check mark does not cut it.

 

NI, please!!! Also please make it valid only per playlist

This is my first post to the Forum. As per the Forum Rules, I searched for the appropriate thread, so as not to create a duplicate, and I believe this is it.

Looks like this thread was started almost 5 years ago - although the requests might be actually older - a request for Colors to better show songs played (like Serato), and/or a column that can have a color inserted (for whatever reason) like Serato, Mixvibes Cross, and others.

Now, 2017, and nothing. Frankly, this is just plain stupid. Let the Flaming begin -

 

From a technical standpoint how hard is this to program into the software? My guess is its not that hard to do.

 

I have absolutely no idea how hard it is to implement. However, if you've ever used one of the programs that does use color in the browser, you would fully appreciate how great it is, and it should be done even if it is difficult to do. In fact, it should have already been done! Like I said, for absolutely nothing to have been done after all this time (with many requests in multiple threads) is just plain stupid.

 

I also use serato and i know how much of a benefit this is and i totally agree this should have been implemented by now.

 

Why NI don't respond to good request?
Is traktor still alive in their program or just Maschine and Complete 'cause they r the really money maker???
Community ask for:
+ Day/Night function (like Serato Day Mode)
+ Video Mixing (like Serato Video)
+ Native Controller Management EasyMaker (like Xtrememapping.com already do)
+ More efficient Traktor DJ for Mobile solution (this is the future, open your eyes...)
+ Cue Points Indicator in Browser
+ ecc.

No one Big announcement since Stems.

great to see color coding coming to the beta 2.11.1.5 for playlists would love to see color coded for the key column NOT just when you sort by key but at all times

 

I would love to see colors for the browser too for different playlists for e.t.c. Please NI.

bpm color can also be done using a white gradient, because there are already enough color elements in the browser
