Can I just double check - if I got to a store and buy a physical product, it still gives me a key I can put into Native Access and it gives me the updates? Do I need to use the disc that comes with the box? Does it save time on downloads?

I don't want to go buy a box today and end up in a dead end when I want to upgrade / update!

No worries. Everything is done via Native Acces, no discs anymore. You'll always find the latest version of the software in NA.

If you choose a physical copy of KOMPLETE 12, all of your instruments, effects, and additional content comes preloaded onto an HDD. Choose a download version, and your software becomes available right away via Native Access – your one-stop hub for easy product installation, registration, and updates.

But everything will be accessible via Native Access as soon as you add the serial which is delivered with the hard drive.

It just installs much faster with the hard drive attached. Native Access automatically recognizes the drive and asked you what and where to install.

... should we suppose 'song mode' is out of the question anytime this year then? ...

... btw ... completely disinterested in sounds.com ... have zero use for it ...

I would guess for this year we can forget it, and I'm also not interested in sounds.com I build my own brics for music lego.

Hi it would be very nice to have our own made projects back in/out of iMaschine as the same way the project is been bounced to maschine desktop.

    * the recording duration for a pad is to short it’s I think a 5 seconds and not longer. While if i’m Importing audio it’s max 10 seconds? Please make this longer, cause it makes no sense, very anoying.

    * it would be nice to record in the “back” for example i’m Writing lyrics and I want to look to my lyrics while recording, that is impossible right now.

*it would be nice to have something like audio quantization. I believe iMaschine 1 had it right?

    *auv3

*auto tune/key tune right next to the gate

    * a “gate” after a preformance would also be nice.

    * none distructive audio editing. Is only possible now to cut the end points instead of let’s say a bad word been recorded and I want to punch in.

I hope to see improvements that are at least basic nessacities in 2019 . I don’t think NI NEEDS TO COMPETE To stand out from the rest.

    Blessings

It's great to see some clear communication about what's being worked on.

    Fixes/improvements I'd like to see:

    - More than 4 pages of knobs in MIDI mode on Komplete Kontrol S-series mk2 keyboards. Now that MCU support has finally been added, I'm considering upgrading my S49 mk1, but 4 pages of knobs is not enough, and seems like a totally arbitrary limitation.

    - More than 4 stereo inputs/outputs in Maschine. I don't know why it even has this secondary layer of configuration instead of just letting me access my audio interface directly. Maschine is the only app with this dumb limitation, and it severely limits what can be done with external gear.

    - Maschine needs a way to compensate for the total latency when controlling external gear via MIDI. It has a slider to adjust this for MIDI clock. I can get external devices with their own sequencers to properly align with the metronome in Maschine. But if I control those same devices by sending MIDI instead of their onboard sequencers, the timing is noticeably off and there's no setting to address this.

    - Fix the issue where the displays on Komplete Kontrol S-series mk1 keyboards stop updating for a couple seconds when adjusting parameters while running Maschine (standalone). When it happens, the knobs are still working, but the displays don't update until it gets unstuck a couple seconds later. This happens all the time. It doesn't happen when using the Komplete Kontrol software (standalone or in Logic). Only in Maschine. Don't know if it happens on mk2 keyboards; I only have a mk1.

    - Either AU or VST3 support in the Komplete Kontrol plugin, so I can use my S-series keyboard with Roland Cloud plugins. Yes, I can just use them in MIDI mode, but then I can't use the Scale or Arpeggiator functions, or directly map controls without having to create MIDI templates.

I'm just waiting for a power button. I'm interested, but don't want to have to unplug it all the time to turn off the Christmas lights.

Can we just get some simple slicing for iMaschine? Literally all I’m asking for..... for years now. I’ve given up on all other requests across Maschine 2.0 and iMaschine 2.

Saw the live stream last night and took me about our to believe it was real and not a late April fools joke

I hope a new iMaschine update will come soon, i love it for all the great sounds, but i had some serious crash on my iphone last week (iPhone SE, had to delete and re-install the whole thing :/), really hope stability will be better in the future! And please give us AU support :p

The size and resolution of screens are getting higher and higher and the size of Komplete Kontrol interface is getting smaller and smaller. I'm no IT-Specialist but is this connected to the lack of resizing and scaling of the window of Komplete Kontrol? I'm getting older and "blinder" and at the moment I'm afraid I will have to search my cellar for the "Gameboy Screen Magnifier". Any news I missed? If so you would make me very happy with a confirmation of this 2000-era-feature. ;-)

    Nop, no news missed :(
Pretty much, I am 35 and have pretty good eyesight (last time i checked) and I have to squint my eyes to read KK's browser and some instruments. There's a way to edit the size of a few things if you're a DIY type of guy while we wait for official scalable GUI's.

Kind of annoying but better than nothing. 4k and retina resolutions are so old news by now..

Ultimately scalable UI and VST3 are two big things NI hasn't implemented across their plugin range. It's kinda unbelievable.

If you fancy a laugh read the comments for this video, it sends a very loud and clear message.
